 Class Information

Mrs Hobin and Mrs Halliwell, the reception class teachers, would like to welcome you to our class page which is a window into daily life in reception. In reception we are very lucky to be supported by Miss Pennington, Mrs Naughton, Miss Sudell and Miss Hulme and we work very closely with the rest of the Early Years Team in nursery. If you have any questions or concerns about anything in reception please do not hesitate to speak to any member of staff.

We are always very busy in reception and love to share our learning with you so don't forget to sign up to our Twitter feed @BHCohort2425 to keep up to date with all our news.

On Thursday we visit the library and on Friday we change our reading books, although it is important that children bring their reading bags to school every day. Please try to share your child's reading book daily and make a comment in their yellow reading record book every week.

Thursday is also the day that Mr Haddock from Premier Sport comes in to deliver our P.E. session. Don't forget all children need their P.E. kit in school every day which consists of a white t-shirt, blue shorts and black P.E. pumps. We will send it home to be washed at the end of each half term. Please ensure earrings are removed for P.E. and long hair is tied back with a bobble.

If there is anything else you would like to be included on the reception class page please do not hesitate to ask.

Don't forget to log onto Reading Eggs and Mathletics, the log in details are stuck in the front of your child's reading record. These programmes are a fun way to work on your maths, reading and spelling skills.  Click the link below to access the log in page.
